I love the old WWII propaganda posters. They're so interesting, and many of them have a great messages (ignoring the racist ones of course) that still apply today.
I love the "use it up, wear it out, buy used, or make do without" idea. We may be broke as a joke right now, but I can't say I would ever sew Troy's pants while he was actively mowing the lawn. I mean, I'm efficient, but that seems like a bit much to me.
